Isaac Daniel is Born

Our baby Isaac Daniel was born on 7/7/07 (lucky!!) at 1:10 AM (I was hoping for 1:11 AM, but he was early). The nurses were telling us that a lot of women were calling up, trying to induce for the sole purpose of having a baby on the lucky day, but they were turned away. :)

Isaac is a happy bouncing baby. He was 8 pounds, 10 ounces and 22 inches long! Two nurses independently pulled me aside to tell me how tall he is. We're excited. Click below for more pictures in our photo gallery.

Deep Thought
If you're like me, you probably blame a lot of things on rubber bands. If there's bad news in the newspaper, you blame it on the rubber band which kept it rolled up. Or if you get your bank statement, and there's less money in your account than you thought you had, you blame it on the rubber band that hold the statement and the checks together. Why do we do that?
