The Day I Had A Mullet

I had a mullet for two whole days! Here are some preliminary pictures.

After a Weezer concert in mid-March 2001, I asked Chris to give me a mullet cut. It was for a joke, and it came out that way. People were very impressed with the fashionable look that I had. Many people were copying me within days. You can see many of them at Mullets Galore.

Before

I started out with pretty long hair and a ghotee. Here are the before pictures of me:

During

Chris used a new (not really) pair of clippers to cut my hair that had one attachment. And this attachment was missing half of the tines, so it wasn't that effective anyway. Here are some action shots of Chris barbering his way into all our hearts.

After

Immediately after I was pleased with his work. Here I am:

My boss, upon seeing me, did a double grape snap (double take) and then took these pictures with his digital camera. There are more pictures to come from my own camera. The film just needs to be developed.

Sneaking up on the mullet boy. Still sneaking up. Surprise!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I had the mullet cut off within 36 hours of receiving it (received mullet Tuesday Mar 13, 2001, had it cut Wednesday night Mar 14, 2001).

If you lived in the Dark Ages and you were a catapult operator, I bet the most common question people would ask is, "Can't you make it shoot farther?" "No, I'm sorry. That's as far as it shoots."
